Wiec „Love Aotearoa, Hate Racism (LAHR)” w Auckland w Nowej Zelandii, w którym uczestniczyło ponad tysiąc osób 23 marca 2019 r., był nadawany na żywo na stronie Facebooka Apna TV (New Zealand). Socjalistyczny aktywista Joe Carolan, współzałożyciel LAHR, powiedział, że wojna w Palestynie “przyszła do domu”, ponieważ sześć ofiar strzelaniny w  Christchurch było uchodźcami z Palestyny. Ahmed Bhamji, fidżyjski  kierownik Masjid Umar, meczetu w Auckland, w którym premierka Nowej Zelandii, Jacinda Ardern, ubrana w hidżab, przemawiała tego samego dnia, powiedział, że Mosad i syjonistyczne biznesy w Nowej Zelandii pomogły zamachowcy z Christchurch podczas jego pobytu w Nowej Zelandii oraz przy kupnie broni, jakiej użył do masakry. Człowiek z tłumu krzyknął: “To prawda! Izrael za tym stoi!” Masjid Umar jest stowarzyszony z Federation of Islamic Associations of New Zealand, gdzie Bhamji jest członkiem komitetu. Strona Facebooka Apna TV informuje, że jest “Pierwszym i jedynym indiańskim kanałem telewizyjnym nadającym darmo przez okrągłą dobę na Channel 36″.

„Czy sądzicie, że ten facet był sam?… Skąd wziął fundusze?

Joe Carolan: Chcę zaprosić mojego przyjaciela Fadiego, który był tutaj wiele razy, kiedy maszerowaliśmy dla Palestyny. Niestety, wojna przyszła do domu, bo sześcioro ludzi, którzy stracili życie w Christchurch, byli uchodźcami z Palestyny.

Jej syn był w Nowej Zelandii tylko przez 6 miesięcy. Przyjechał tu po lepsze życie dla swoich dzieci. Lepszą przyszłość dla swoich dzieci, dla siebie. A jakiś tchórz, który przybył zza morza, odmówił mu tego.

Ahmed Bhamji: Naprawdę chcę powiedzieć dzisiaj jedną rzecz. Czy myślicie, że ten facet był sam? Czy myślicie… Chcę was zapytać: skąd wziął fundusze? Ten facet nigdy nie pracował w swoim życiu. Według informacji, pochodzi z niezbyt zamożnej rodziny z Australii. Był w Korei Północnej, był w Pakistanie i pozostawał tam przez dwa lata.

Był tutaj przez dwa lata, w Nowej Zelandii. Powiedzcie mi, co robił tutaj przez dwa lata? Gdzie pracował? Skąd brał pieniądze? Czy to z naszej [niezrozumiałe]?

Ahmed Bhamji: Mam bardzo, bardzo… Nie będę przebierał w słowach. Stoję tutaj i mówię że mam bardzo, bardzo silne podejrzenie, że za nim stoi pewna grupa i nie boję się powiedzieć, że uważam, że za tym stoi Mosad.

Człowiek z tłumu: To prawda! Za tym stoi Izrael! To prawda!

Ahmed Bhamji: I nie tylko oni. Są także pewne biznesy, które są tutaj… Syjonistyczne biznesy, które stoją za nim i zdecydowanie… I sądzę, że kiedy będzie dochodzenie, musimy… To dochodzenie musi spojrzeć na ten aspekt. Skąd wziął pieniądze, żeby kupić całą tę broń?

Ahmed Bhamji: Skąd wziął pieniądze, żeby być tutaj przez dwa lata? To jest strona, na którą musimy spojrzeć.

Syrian army says Israeli strikes hit northern city of Aleppo

Airstrikes reportedly hit ammunition depot, logistics hub belonging to Iranian-backed militias, vicinity of military airport used by Iranian troops • Syrian Observatory for Human Rights reports seven members of Iran’s forces in country killed in attack.

The Syrian military said Israel on Wednesday launched raids on an industrial zone in the northern city of Aleppo, causing only material damage, while opposition sources said the strikes hit Iranian ammunitions stores and a military airport used by Tehran’s forces.

“The Israeli aggression targeted some positions in Sheikh Najjar industrial zone and a number of enemy missiles were brought down,” an army statement said.

According to the U.K.-based Syrian Observatory for Human Rights, seven members of Iran’s forces in the country were killed in the attack.

There was no immediate comment from Israel.

The blasts caused an electrical blackout in Aleppo, the country’s second largest city and a major industrial hub that bore the brunt of years of fighting and heavy Russian and Syrian aerial bombardment on its former rebel-held areas.

Military experts say Aleppo is one of the main areas where Iran’s elite Revolutionary Guards have a strong military presence supporting local militias that have for years been fighting against insurgents alongside the Syrian army.

Two opposition sources familiar with Tehran’s military presence in the area said a large ammunition depot and a logistics hub belonging to Iranian-backed militias inside the industrial zone took direct hits.

Other strikes hit the vicinity of Nairab military airport on the outskirts of Aleppo in the second such strike on the installation used by Iranian troops in less than a year, they added.

Iranian-backed Shiite militias have expanded their control over mainly Sunni areas around Damascus, southern and eastern Syria that bore the brunt of the heaviest bombardment and led to mass displacement or emigration to neighboring countries.

Iran’s growing influence in Syria, where it has struck economic and trade deals, has raised the prospect of a military confrontation with its archenemy Israel

Israel, which considers Iran its biggest threat, has repeatedly attacked Iranian targets in Syria and those of allied militia, including Lebanon’s Hezbollah.

Earlier this year Israeli military said they had attacked Iranian targets that included munitions stores in Damascus International Airport.

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has said Israel had carried out “hundreds” of attacks over the past few years of Syria’s war to curtail Iran and its ally Hezbollah.

Israel has said it was crucial to block growing Iranian military influence in Syria and has vowed it would push its troops out of the country.

Iran has warned Israel it would respond if it continued attacking targets in Syria and repeatedly said its military presence in Syria is at the invitation of the Assad government and that it has no immediate plans to withdraw.

The strike coincided with an emergency meeting of the United Nations Security Council that was held at Syria’s request over U.S. President Donald Trump’s decision to recognize Israel’s sovereignty over the Golan Heights.

Nikki Haley Tells AIPAC Conference Arab States Themselves Don’t Believe in Their Anti-Israel Campaign Anymore

The Arab states themselves don’t believe in their diplomatic campaign against Israel anymore, former ambassador to the UN Nikki Haley told pro-Israel lobbing group AIPAC’s annual Policy Conference on Monday.

Receiving by far the most enthusiastic reception from the audience of any of the day’s speakers, Haley, who was noted for her staunch defense of Israel during her tenure, quickly pointed out that the response of the UN to Monday morning’s Hamas missile attack that leveled an Israeli home and wounded seven was “radio silence.”

Asked why this is the case, and why the UN regularly condemns Israeli retaliation but not the terrorism that caused it, Haley replied, “What I’ve learned is that, at the UN, it’s just been this way for so long that they do that.”

However, she said, even Israel’s staunchest opponents are aware of the hypocrisy of this practice.

“I was at this meeting with a couple of Arab countries and we were talking about Yemen,” she recounted. “And one of them said, ‘I just don’t understand, why isn’t anyone calling out Hezbollah, why aren’t they sitting there saying something about what’s being done, all of the things that are happening,’ because they were upset that that terrorist group was doing something that they shouldn’t be doing.”

“And I turned around and I said, ‘Well if you’re upset about that, what’s the difference between that and Hamas and Israel?’ They were stunned, but when our meeting was over, they pulled me to the side and they said, ‘You know, you’re right. We know you’re right, but we have to do this for our constituents,’” Haley stated.

“That’s what they’re doing this for, for sound bites for their constituents,” she asserted. “They don’t honestly think that way. It’s just they’ve done it for so long, they do what they think they’ve always had to do.”

When asked what she felt were her greatest accomplishments as ambassador, Haley replied, “Still being alive today. Surviving the UN.”
