1) The interim government in Jerusalem, under the leadership of Incumbent Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, continues to enact new and increasingly-stricter measures to try a slow the spread of the highly contagious coronavirus; with rising prospects of a forced nationwide curfew.

2) while extraordinary measures are demanded of the Israeli public, with the Health Ministry stressing that restrictions could last for weeks and even months; the leadership in Jerusalem fails to put its deep-rooted divisions aside, as negotiations for a broad national emergency government have bitterly imploded.

3) Authorities in Cairo have announced that from tomorrow, the 19th of March, all air traffic will be halted – as part of efforts to prevent the rapid spread of the corona contagion.
