Air Canada First Officer Mostafa Ezzo\u00a0shared<\/a>\u00a0photos of himself at an anti-Israel protest in Montreal with a sign proclaiming \u201cIsrael, Hitler is proud of you\u201d and showcased a\u00a0photo<\/a>\u00a0of himself preparing to board a plane wearing a green, black, white and red scarf with the word \u201cPalestine\u201d on it.<\/span><\/p>\n

Ezzo also wrote an Instagram post using an expletive against Israel and calling for the Jewish state to \u201cBurn in hell.\u201d Another protest image showed him with a sign of the Israeli flag going into a waste basket and the phrase \u201ckeeping the world clean.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

The StopAntisemitism watchdog group\u00a0highlighted<\/a>\u00a0Ezzo\u2019s bigotry on social media and tagged his employer, saying to Air Canada: \u201cWe imagine this hatred is a violation of company policy.\u201d The group soon received a response.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cWe are aware of the unacceptable posts made by an Air Canada pilot,\u201d the airline\u00a0stated<\/a>\u00a0on social media. \u201cWe are taking this matter very seriously, and he was taken out of service on Mon, Oct. 9. We firmly denounce violence in all forms.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

Ezzo has since deleted his social-media accounts and LinkedIn.<\/span><\/p>\n
