A Hamas official has promised that the Palestinian terrorist group will repeat its Oct. 7 massacre of Israelis \u201cagain and again\u201d to bring about the Jewish state\u2019s \u201cannihilation.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

Ghazi Hamad, a member of Hamas\u2019 political bureau and a spokesman for the Iran-backed terror organization, told Lebanon\u2019s LBC TV in an Arabic language interview on Oct. 24 that Israel \u201cmust be finished.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cWe must teach Israel a lesson, and we will do this again and again,\u201d Hamad said. \u201c[The Oct. 7 massacre] is just the first time and there will be a second, a third, a fourth \u2026 the occupation must come to an end.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

Asked if by ending \u201cthe occupation\u201d he meant the \u201cannihilation\u201d of Israel, Hamad replied, \u201cYes, of course.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cThe existence of Israel is what causes all that pain, blood, and tears,\u201d he said. \u201cIt is Israel, not us. We are the victims of the occupation. Period. Therefore, nobody should blame us for the things we do. On Oct. 7 \u2026 everything we do is justified.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

Hamad added, in English to emphasize the point, \u201cIt is justified.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

Hamad\u2019s comments were first translated on Wednesday by the Middle East Media Research Institute (MEMRI).<\/span><\/p>\n

On Saturday, Hamad made headlines for storming out of a BBC interview when he was asked about Hamas murdering entire families in their beds during the Oct. 7 massacre.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cHow do you justify killing people as they sleep, families?\u201d the BBC\u2019s Hugo Bachega asked.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cI want to stop this interview,\u201d Hamad said, ripping off his microphone and throwing it on the ground.<\/span><\/p>\n

The UK\u2019s Foreign Secretary James Cleverly on Wednesday said that Hamad\u2019s comments were proof that there can be no peace with Hamas.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cHow can there be peace when Hamas are committed to the eradication of Israel?\u201d Cleverly posted on X\/Twitter. \u201cThis is an official from Hamas committing to repeat the atrocities from 07\/10 again and again.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

On Oct. 7, Hamas invaded Israel from neighboring Gaza, which it controls, and killed 1,400 people, mostly civilians, injured thousands more, and kidnapped over 200 people as hostages in the deadliest single-day slaughter of Jews since the Holocaust.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n
