\u201cI\u2019ve been writing ever since I was 13. I always wanted to write in the Jerusalem Post,<\/em> actually,\u201d says Ahmed.<\/span><\/p>\n

His father was the owner of a newspaper who was murdered in 1998 for his political activism and writing, which was critical of the regime. He describes his mother as a feminist and human rights activist who decided against all norms to take off her hijab and end her first marriage.<\/span><\/p>\n

He also has one brother, \u201cthough he excommunicated me over the Israel issue,\u201d he adds gloomily. \u201cIt\u2019s what saddens me most.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

Inspired to become an activist<\/strong><\/h5>\n

Seeing his mother violate all the norms inspired him to go into political activism himself. At the age of 16, during the so-called Arab Spring, he found himself taking to the streets holding signs for human rights and feminism.<\/span><\/p>\n

Ultimately his activism was made public, and he was invited to Sweden to speak about the situation in Yemen.<\/span><\/p>\n

Watan-Against the backdrop of escalating tensions with the United States, the Houthi Ansar Allah group took a notable military step following American airstrikes that targeted dozens of locations in Yemen, reportedly hitting Houthi targets.<\/span><\/p>\n

After the U.S. airstrikes, the Houthis conducted a military maneuver in the province of Saada, near the Saudi border, under the title \u201cReady for the Promised Victory Battle and Holy Jihad.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

Video footage documented the nature of this Houthi military maneuver, specifically in response to a U.S. airstrike that targeted the vicinity of Sanaa International Airport in the Yemeni capital.<\/span><\/p>\n

Simulating an attack on Israeli settlements, the maneuver witnessed the use of various types of weapons, simulating an assault on Israeli settlements and targets.<\/span><\/p>\n

The maneuver was carried out by members of Brigade 141 in the Baq\u2019a axis in the sixth military region affiliated with the group in Saada province, northern Yemen.<\/span><\/p>\n

American Attack on a Houthi Site<\/strong><\/h5>\n

Following these maneuvers, there was an American airstrike targeting a radar site affiliated with the Houthi<\/a> Ansar Allah group in Yemen.<\/span><\/p>\n

The U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM) stated on its \u201cEx\u201d platform account that American forces conducted an airstrike on a Houthi radar site in Yemen.<\/span><\/p>\n

CENTCOM added that the strike was carried out by the USS Carney using Tomahawk missiles, noting that this strike follows a specific military objective related to the strikes carried out on Friday.<\/span><\/p>\n

CENTCOM explained that these strikes aim to \u201cweaken the Houthi ability to attack ships, including merchant ships.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n
