President-elect Donald Trump<\/a>\u00a0has offered Republican Representative Elise Stefanik the job as US ambassador to the United Nations, CNN reported on Sunday.<\/span><\/p>\n

Just hours before the report, Stefanik made a post on X\/Twitter on Sunday, saying,\u00a0 “Joe Biden and Kamala Harris are choosing to ignore the law and waiving mandatory terrorism sanctions on the Palestinian government.”<\/span><\/p>\n

The Biden-Harris Administration knows that the Palestinian Authority is continuing their \u201cpay-to-slay\u201d policies and lining the pockets of terrorists who kill Israelis. However, Joe Biden and Kamala Harris are choosing to ignore the law and waiving mandatory terrorism sanctions on\u2026<\/strong><\/p>\n

“Thankfully, the Biden-Harris Administration\u2019s rewarding of terrorists at the expense of our great ally Israel is coming to an end.”<\/span><\/p>\n

Stefanik is most well-known for making the headlines in December of 2023, where she took part in a high-profile congressional hearing with the presidents of Harvard, MIT, and the University of Pennsylvania to address antisemitism on campus and overall feelings of lack of safety for Jewish students.<\/span><\/p>\n

During this hearing, Stefanik asked all three presidents directly if “calling for the genocide of Jews” was against their respective universities’ codes of conduct, to which all three presidents answered that it depends on the context of the situation.<\/span><\/p>\n

In May, she spoke at a Sunday meeting of the Knesset Caucus for Jewish and Pro-Israel Students on Campuses Around the World, stating, “There is no excuse for an American president to block aid to Israel.”<\/span><\/p>\n

<\/section>\n

Stefanik has been openly supportive of Israel and the fight against Hamas and\u00a0antisemitism<\/a>. \u201cIt\u2019s why I have sponsored, or backed, every measure to aid Israel that has come before the US Congress \u2013 every single one.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

It was also why Stefanik, for years, has been, as she describes herself, \u201ca leading proponent and partner to [former] President [Donald] Trump in his historic support for Israeli independence and security.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

According to Stefanik,\u00a0the fight against Hamas<\/a>\u00a0was one of \u201cgood versus evil, civilization versus barbarism, and humanity versus depravity.\u201d She said that the majority of American citizens stood behind Israel.<\/span><\/p>\n

Criticism of Biden<\/strong><\/h5>\n

Under the Presidency of Joe Biden, Stefanik has been highly critical of his administration’s foreign policies.<\/span><\/p>\n

In April, during a House Republican leadership press conference, she outlined the party’s points of contention with Biden’s handling of Russia, Iran, China, and Afghanistan.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

<\/section>\n

“Under Joe Biden, the world is less safe,” Stefanik said. “His desperate policy of appeasement has left our nation and our allies vulnerable to attack.”<\/span><\/p>\n

<\/section>\n

Stefanik said America’s enemies do not fear recourse because of Joe Biden, and the US needed to return to former President Donald Trump’s “peace through strength” policies, which House Republicans proudly support.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
