Photo: Reuters\/Ying Tang<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000080;\">As\u00a0<a style=\"color: #000080;\" href=\"https:\/\/www.algemeiner.com\/2025\/06\/04\/antisemitic-incidents-germany-almost-double-2024-report-\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">antisemitic incidents continue to rise in Germany<\/a>, the Catholic Church in Berlin has taken a firmer stance against anti-Jewish hatred by issuing new guidelines prohibiting its members from expressing racist, antisemitic, or extremist views.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000080;\">On Saturday, the Archdiocese of Berlin, the governing body of the city\u2019s Catholic Church, announced that all candidates for leadership positions must sign a special declaration rejecting racism, antisemitism, and extremist views.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000080;\">\u201cWith this decision, responsibility falls where it belongs.
