Photo: REUTERS\/Stringer<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><span style=\"color: #000080;\">Hamas operatives have pushed far beyond Gaza, embedding themselves across Europe \u2014 and now posing a growing threat inside the United Kingdom, where covert arms caches and active attack plots have put intelligence services on high alert, according to a new report.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><span style=\"color: #000080;\">Even though Hamas has traditionally focused its operations in Israel, Gaza, and the West Bank, the Palestinian terrorist group has been\u00a0<a style=\"color: #000080;\" href=\"https:\/\/www.algemeiner.com\/2025\/10\/27\/hamas-expands-terror-operations-europe-amid-gaza-war-exploiting-criminal-networks-weapons-caches\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">steadily cultivating foreign attack capabilities<\/a>\u00a0\u2014 a trend highlighted in a new report obtained by\u00a0<i>The Daily Mirror<\/i>, which warns of a looming threat of Hamas-led attacks in Europe.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><span style=\"color: #000080;\">Intelligence assessments indicate that the terrorist group, backed for years by Iran, Qatar, and Turkey, has been gradually expanding its presence in Europe\u00a0<a style=\"color: #000080;\" href=\"https:\/\/www.algemeiner.com\/2025\/12\/03\/hamas-grip-gaza-ngos-exposed-world-plans-post-war-rebuilding-efforts\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">through a network of charities, NGOs<\/a>, and criminal gangs, with Israeli diplomatic missions, Israel-linked businesses, and Jewish religious sites among its top targets.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><span style=\"color: #000080;\">The report also notes that the group has not only stockpiled weapons\u00a0<a style=\"color: #000080;\" href=\"https:\/\/www.algemeiner.com\/2025\/11\/12\/german-authorities-arrest-another-suspected-hamas-operative-growing-terror-threat-jews-europe\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">such as AK-47s and ammunition<\/a>\u00a0but is increasingly turning to drone warfare, bolstered by backing from Lebanon and Iran and supported by Eastern European crime networks that help it acquire advanced weaponry.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><span style=\"color: #000080;\">\u201cThe Oct. 7, 2023, assault fundamentally altered Israel\u2019s threat perceptions, but also reshaped Hamas\u2019s calculations,\u201d the report says, referring to the Hamas-led invasion of and massacre across southern Israel.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><span style=\"color: #000080;\">\u201cFollowing catastrophic damage to its infrastructure in Gaza and significant leadership attrition, the group\u2019s remaining command nodes particularly those in Lebanon began activating contingency plans long under development,\u201d it continues.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><span style=\"color: #000080;\">\u201cThe organization\u2019s leadership now appears more willing to accept the strategic risks of external operations.
