\"MiddleSyrian immigrants pose a grave danger to all Americans \u2014 and especially to American Jews and homosexuals.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Top Obama Administration officials have testified that Syrian refugees cannot be properly vetted. As FBI Director James Comey stated, \u201cWe can query our databases until the cows come home, but nothing will show up because we have no record of them.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

Homeland Security Counterterrorism and Intelligence Subcommittee Chairman, Congressman Peter King (R, NY), added: \u201cThere is absolutely no real way of vetting these refugees coming in. . . . there is no intelligence on the ground. . . . There\u2019s obviously no government records we can go to. Syria is a totally chaotic country, and it\u2019s a hotbed of al Qaeda and ISIS. And we have no idea who\u2019s coming out of Syria. . . . it definitely puts the United States at risk.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

US Director of National Intelligence James Clapper testified that US intelligence officials have a \u201chuge concern\u201d about ISIS\u2019 ability to infiltrate the country via Syrian refugees. A top Lebanese minister warned that two in every 100 Syrian migrants are ISIS fighters. An ISIS operative admitted that 4,000 ISIS fighters have been smuggled into Western nations, hidden among refugees. Congressman Peter King wrote \u201cwe know that ISIL will attempt to infiltrate its members into the United States with these refugees. . . . ISIS perpetrators of the Paris massacre traveled hidden among refugees.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

FBI Director Comey also testified that the intelligence community is concerned that ISIS has the capability to manufacture fraudulent passports. US Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) intelligence sources report that ISIS has passport printing machines, blank passport books, and Syrian citizen\u2019s biographical data for stealing identities.<\/span><\/p>\n

Moreover, many Syrians support ISIS and hate Jews. An Arab Center for Research and Policy Studies poll of 900 Syrian refugees in November showed that a third of Syrian refugees are ISIS sympathizers, and 13% support ISIS.<\/span><\/p>\n

In addition, according to a 2007 poll cited in the article \u201cOpposing Syrian Muslim Refugees is a Jewish Value,\u201d a staggering 77% of Syrians support Hamas \u2014 a terrorist organization whose Charter calls for murdering Jews. Hamas trainers and trainees, who are in Syria, may very well enter the United States as Syrian \u201crefugees.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

The Pew Research Center\u2019s Global Attitudes survey (2009) found that in majority Muslim nations such as Syria, more than 90% of people held strongly unfavorable (antisemitic) attitudes towards Jews.<\/span><\/p>\n

Syrian Muslims are indoctrinated from an early age to celebrate martyrdom, act violently towards \u201cenemies,\u201d and hate Jews and Israel. A chilling recent study of Syrian textbooks found vicious antisemitic teachings.<\/span><\/p>\n

The violence perpetrated by Muslim immigrants in Europe \u2014 especially toward European Jews \u2014 portends what America has in store if we bring more such immigrants here. A recent ISGAP survey noted: \u201cPerpetrators of the most extreme cases of violence against European Jews in recent years were Muslims.\u201d In the wake of numerous Muslim attacks on German Jews, the leader of Germany\u2019s Jewish community, Dr. Josef Schuster, warned that many refugees are from cultures marked by \u201chate towards Jews and intolerance,\u201d and implored German Chancellor Angela Merkel to limit refugees. Dr. Schuster also reminded Merkel of the Islamists\u2019 mistreatment of women and homosexuals.<\/span><\/p>\n

Islamists are attacking Jews in America already. Our children are subjected to rampant, even violent, hateful antisemitism on some American college campuses. At City University of New York\u2019s Hunter College, the anti-Israel hate group \u201cStudents for Justice in Palestine\u201d (SJP) chanted \u201cZionists out of CUNY!\u201d and \u201cIntifada! Intifada! Long live the Intifada, Death to the Zionists!\u201d (Intifada means murdering innocent Jews.) Likewise, at UC Berkley in October, Muslim students shouted: \u201cWe support the intifada!\u201d during an antisemitic, anti-Israel SJP rally.<\/span><\/p>\n

At Temple University, an SJP member or sympathizer punched an innocent Jewish student in the face. A gang of SJP members screamed at the Jewish student that he was a \u201cZionist pig\u201d and \u201ckike\u201d and deserved what he got. Repeated antisemitic incidents have reportedly made it unsafe to be Jewish at Vassar College.<\/span><\/p>\n

Muslim terrorist plots have targeted American synagogues in New York, Los Angeles, Chicago and Washington DC.<\/span><\/p>\n

On New York\u2019s Upper West Side, a Muslim man attacked and struck a Jewish bookstore owner in the face, while screaming \u201cF- the Jews!\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

San Bernardino terrorist Sayed Farook specifically targeted and killed a pro-Israel Messianic Jewish co-worker, Nicholas Thalasinos. According to the victim\u2019s friend, Farook had been threatening Nicholas, \u201ctelling him that Islam will rule the world, that Christians and Jews deserve to die; and that he (Nicholas) was going to die.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

We dare not increase this scourge.<\/span><\/p>\n

An influx of Syrian Muslims would also further strengthen the Arab anti-Israel lobby, thereby weakening US-Israel relations.<\/span><\/p>\n

Shockingly, despite these grave perils, HIAS, the Anti-Defamation League, AJC, Union for Reform Judaism and the national JCRCs signed a joint letter with vicious anti-Israel organizations (i.e. Muslim Public Affairs Council, CAIR, the pro-BDS Presbyterians) supporting dangerous Syrian immigration, opposing additional restrictions and security measures on Syrian refugees, and giving credibility to these terrible anti-Israel groups.<\/span><\/p>\n

Even before the San Bernadino massacre, a Bloomberg poll showed that most Americans oppose bringing Syrian refugees here: 53% of Americans want to completely stop accepting Syrian refugees; plus 11% want to only accept Christian Syrian refugees. Only 28% favored continuing resettlement.<\/span><\/p>\n

American Jews and the pro-Israel community should join ZOA and most Americans in opposing bringing more ISIS-infiltrated, Jew hating refugees here.<\/span><\/p>\n
