US President Trump, The Beatles, Pippi Longstocking, Olaf and Elsa, Wonder Woman and Mary Poppins are all taking part in the Holon extravaganza.<\/strong><\/p>\n

As floats of The Beatles, Pippi Longstocking, Olaf and Donald Trump-as-Gulliver wheel down the streets of Holon in this year\u2019s annual Purim Adloyada parade, parade designer Zipi Ifat and creative and development designer Arik Lefler will be looking on like proud parents.<\/span><\/p>\n

Ifat and Lefler are two of the more than 200 people who work on putting together the annual holiday parade.<\/span><\/p>\n

This year marks the 25th anniversary of the national Adloyada Purim Parade in Holon, the country\u2019s central event. The parade will take place on Sunday, March 12, 2017, under the theme \u201cHeroes of our Childhood and Youth.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019m very happy to see that this parade is celebrating 25 years. When I started 25 years ago, Israel didn\u2019t have such a thing. Today, it is a part of the culture of Israel,\u201d Ifat, the national parade\u2019s designer for 23 years, tells ISRAEL21c, at the Holon studio where the floats are being built weeks before the big event. \u201cAt the parade, I feel very happy. And as soon as it\u2019s over, I begin to think about next year.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n
