\u201cUnder President Donald Trump, if the world knows nothing else, the world will know this \u2014 America stands with Israel,\u201d US Vice President Mike Pence declared on Sunday.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

In an address at the American Israel Public Affairs Committee\u2019s annual policy conference in Washington, DC, Pence stated, \u201cPresident Trump and I stand with Israel for the same reason every freedom-loving American stands with Israel \u2014 because her cause is our cause, her values are our values and her fight is our fight.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cI say with confidence, to all gathered here, President Trump and I stand without apology for Israel and we always will,\u201d Pence continued.<\/span><\/p>\n

Trump, according to Pence, is giving \u201cserious consideration\u201d to moving the US Embassy in Israel from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem.<\/span><\/p>\n

Furthermore, Pence said, \u201cUnder President Trump, the United States will no longer allow the United Nations to be used as a forum for invective against Israel.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

At the same time, the vice president noted, Trump is \u201cinvested in finding an equitable and just solution to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict\u201d and \u201ccommitted to forging a lasting peace in the Middle East.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cAnd while there will undoubtedly have to be compromises, I can assure you all \u2014 President Trump will never compromise the safety and security of the Jewish State of Israel,\u201d Pence went on to say.<\/span><\/p>\n

Regarding Iran, Pence vowed the US would \u201cno longer tolerate\u201d the Tehran regime\u2019s \u201cefforts to destabilize the region and jeopardize Israel\u2019s security.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cLet me clear,\u201d Pence emphasized. \u201cUnder President Donald Trump, the United States of America will not allow Iran to develop a nuclear weapon. This is a solemn promise to you, to Israel and to the world.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n
