Photo: Screenshot<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><span style=\"color: #000080;\">Israel has delivered emergency supplies to Sri Lankan authorities as they struggle to cope with the impact of floods and mudslides that have killed nearly 200 people and displaced more than 80,000 from their homes in recent days.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><span style=\"color: #000080;\">Daniel Carmon \u2014 Israel\u2019s ambassador to India and Sri Lanka \u2014 delivered boxes of relief supplies to Colombo\u2019s Foreign Ministry, including power generators that were taken immediately to afflicted areas.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/pbs.twimg.com\/media\/DBE2fcRXoAEOGS2.jpg\" width=\"100%\" alt=\"\" data-aria-label-part=\"\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><span style=\"color: #000080;\">Mudslides have become common during Sri Lanka\u2019s summer monsoon season as forests across the tropical Indian Ocean island nation have been cleared for export crops such as tea and rubber.
