Palestinian Authority Ambassador to the UN Riyad Mansour declined this week to condemn last Friday\u2019s terrorist attack in Halamish \u2014 in which three Israelis were stabbed to death at a Shabbat dinner \u2014 and instead justified the act.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Addressing reporters at the UN headquarters in New York City, Mansour said, \u201cWhen you have an occupation with its ruthlessness\u2026then don\u2019t expect all Palestinians to be angels [and] not to react to it.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cIf people think that the Palestinian people are going to live in that situation without any form of resistance to it, that is not realistic and that is not fair,\u201d Mansour went on to assert.<\/span>
\n Israel\u2019s UN envoy, Danny Danon, said the Halamish attack was a \u201cdirect result of hateful Palestinian incitement.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

The international community, Danon continued, must demand that the Palestinian Authority \u201cimmediately end terror and glorification of violence.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n
