Among the topics Friedman addressed were Jewish communities in Judea and Samaria and the future of the two-state solution.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><span style=\"color: #000080;\">With regard to the first point, Friedman explained, \u201cI think the settlements are part of Israel,\u201d which \u201cwas always the expectation when [UN] Resolution 242 was adopted.\u201d Friedman added, \u201cThe 1967 borders were viewed by everybody as not secure.
