Nice try.<\/p>\n

The UN Security Council tried to slip one past Nikki Haley. You\u2019d think those bums would know her by now.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Of course she nixed a resolution that was intended to overturn President Trump\u2019s\u2026and hence America\u2019s recognition of Jerusalem as the capital of Israel.<\/span><\/p>\n

Then, of the 14 nations that voted in favor of the resolution, she said this \u2013 \u201cWhat happened today at the Security Council is an insult. It won\u2019t be forgotten.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

She wasn\u2019t smiling\u2026and neither was she saying, but it\u2019s been noted, that the United States can stop funding the UN.<\/span>
\n Step two would get it out of New York and into Brussels, which serves as capital to the European Union<\/span>
\n From Brussels, by the way, EU commissar Dimitris Avramopolous, one of the men who thinks he runs the world not just Europe, complains that Europe is \u201ctoo white.\u201d Therefore more migrants are needed, millions of them both legal and illegal, in order to save the continent and create \u201ca new norm.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

Good luck with that, Dimitris.<\/span><\/p>\n

Actually it\u2019s the United States that runs the world\u2026or enough of it that Trump can tell the rest of them to go fly a kite. We don\u2019t give a damn.<\/span><\/p>\n

In that spirit, Haley told the Security Council that the United States won\u2019t be pushed around; nobody tells us what to do \u2013 where or when we can place our embassies.<\/span><\/p>\n

Which will shortly be in Jerusalem\u2026and also about Jerusalem, specifically the Western Wall, both Trump and Haley aver that it belongs to Israel.<\/span><\/p>\n

UN Resultion 2334 said otherwise, but that was under Obama, the anti-Semite who ran with that crowd.<\/span><\/p>\n

That wasn\u2019t forgotten either \u2013 2334. Nikki Haley let them know that it was such one-sided interference (always against Israel) that led to so much bloodshed.<\/span>
\n Haley promised and threatened that the United States \u201cwon\u2019t make that mistake again\u201d\u2026about abstaining in order to let that cursed resolution sail through.<\/span><\/p>\n

Those Happy Days\u2026those Obama days\u2026are over\u2026and of course it\u2019s got The New York Times in a snit.<\/span><\/p>\n

About Monday\u2019s veto, you can read the editorial yourself, but why bother when I can give it to you in a snap, as follows \u2013<\/span><\/p>\n

Nothing belongs to the Israelis. Everything belongs to the Palestinian Arabs. Period. You expected something different from the American news media?<\/span><\/p>\n

From Trump, through Haley at the UN, we find Israel and the United States in the same boat\u2026two liberty-loving countries against the world\u2026and it\u2019s near Biblical.<\/span><\/p>\n

Think of that chapter in the Book of Numbers.<\/span><\/p>\n

Pagan prophet Balaam declares: \u201cIt is a people that dwells in solitude; not to be reckoned among the nations.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

He was talking about Israel\u2026and it\u2019s generally been taken to mean that Israel is destined to be shunned.<\/span><\/p>\n

Wrong interpretation, says Rashi. It means that when the nations are gathered for reckoning, judgment and punishment, Israel will be spared.<\/span><\/p>\n

I say, by degrees, it\u2019s already happening at the UN.<\/span><\/p>\n

Seems to me that the United States shares that blessing in view of God\u2019s hand at work through President Donald Trump and Ambassador Nikki Haley.<\/span><\/p>\n
