Well-known figures like writer Reza Aslan and producer Wajahat Ali as well as journalists, athletes, fashion designers and activists make appearances on the series.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><span style=\"color: #000080;\">Now for the finale of the second season, Seftel has released an episode about Jews and Muslims (secretlifeofmuslims.com\/season-two\/2019\/4\/3\/muslims-and-jews) that he said was a natural outgrowth of his friendships with the subjects of the series.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><span style=\"color: #000080;\">\u201cWe started to, just for fun, ask them about Jews at the end of our interviews,\u201d said Seftel. \u201cOver the course of two seasons of filming we started to look at all the answers we got and said, hey, there\u2019s a film here, let\u2019s put something together.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><span style=\"color: #000080;\">At just over three minutes, the episode does not delve deeply into the long history of Muslim-Jewish relations. (There are some funny bits about overbearing mothers-in-law, though, and, of course, hummus.) But it wastes no time in dealing with the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. \u201cJews and Muslims are religious cousins who get each other, but there is an elephant in the room,\u201d says Wajahat Ali. \u201cAnd that elephant in the room is Israel and Palestine.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<div class=\"content-alignment\" id=\"content\">\n<div class=\"yt-uix-button-panel\" id=\"watch-description\">\n<div id=\"watch-description-text\" style=\"text-align: center;\">\n<div id=\"fb-root\"><\/div>\n<p><script async=\"1\" defer=\"1\" crossorigin=\"anonymous\" src=\"https:\/\/connect.facebook.net\/sv_SE\/sdk.js#xfbml=1&amp;version=v3.2\"><\/script><\/p>\n<div class=\"fb-video\" data-href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/SecretlifeofMuslims\/videos\/2206505399664824\/\" data-width=\"714\">\n<blockquote cite=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/SecretlifeofMuslims\/videos\/2206505399664824\/\" class=\"fb-xfbml-parse-ignore\"><p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/SecretlifeofMuslims\/videos\/2206505399664824\/\">What Brings Muslims and Jews Together?<\/a><\/p>\n<p>It\u2019s easy to highlight the differences between Muslims and Jews, but in fact, there are many cultural similarities.
