JNS.org<\/strong><\/span><\/em><\/a>\u00a0\u2013 An Israeli documentary won an Emmy for Outstanding Nature Documentary at the 2019 News and Documentary Emmys, which were\u00a0announced<\/a><\/strong><\/span>\u00a0in New York earlier this week.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cTrophy\u201d examines the controversial sport of animal hunting, breeding and wildlife conservation industries in the United States and Africa, and discusses whether the industry can ensure the survival of endangered species, according to\u00a0The Jerusalem Post.<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n

The documentary was produced by Israeli cable network,\u00a0YES Docu<\/em>, in association with other companies, and was distributed by\u00a0CNN<\/em>.<\/span><\/p>\n

It was co-produced by Alon Schwarz, the brother of the film\u2019s Israeli co-director, Shaul Schwarz, and edited by Halil Efrat.<\/span><\/p>\n

YES<\/em>\u00a0previously won Emmy documentary awards\u00a0for \u201cGoogle Baby\u201d in the Outstanding Science and Technology Programming category in 2011 and \u201cForever Pure,\u201d<\/em>\u00a0about the\u00a0Beitar Jerusalem<\/strong><\/span><\/a>\u00a0soccer team\u2019s extremist fans, for Outstanding Politics and Government Documentary in 2018.<\/span><\/p>\n
