The Hollywood Reporter<\/em> named Gal Gadot one of its five breakout stars of the 2010s.<\/span><\/p>\n

The Israeli actress and \u201cWonder Woman\u201d star shared the news on Instagram<\/a><\/strong><\/span> on Monday, and said she learned about the recognition from fellow honoree and actress Elizabeth Moss, known for her roles in the television series\u2019 \u201cMad Men\u201d and \u201cThe Handmaid\u2019s Tale.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

Gadot wrote, \u201cWow! Thank you @hollywoodreporter for the honor of being named 1 of the 5 breakouts of 2010\u2019s. And in such great company. The other breakout stars of the decade according to Hollywood Reporter<\/em> included actor Timoth\u00e9e Chalamet, who plays Laurie in \u201cLittle Women\u201d and is nominated for an Oscar for his role in \u201cCall Me By Your Name\u201d; Phoebe Waller-Bridge, the star and creator of the Emmy-winning television series \u201cFleabag\u201d; and Jordan Peele, director of \u201cGet Out\u201d and \u201cUs.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

Gadot\u2019s next film, \u201cWonder Woman 1984,\u201d will be released in 2020 as a follow-up to her highly successful 2017 film about the Amazonian warrior.<\/span><\/p>\n

Her other upcoming films include \u201cRed Notice,\u201d with Ryan Reynolds and Dwayne Johnson, and \u201cDeath on the Nile.\u201dThis year she also founded a production company, called Pilot Wave Motion Pictures, with her husband, Yaron Varsano.<\/span><\/p>\n

The company already has a number of films in the works, including one about the true story of Irene Sendler, a Polish nurse and social worker who helped care for and save 2,500 Jewish children in the Warsaw Ghetto. Gadot will play the lead character.<\/span><\/p>\n
