Ex-Pink Floyd frontman Roger Waters claimed the BBC<\/em> was \u201ccompletely corrupt\u201d for failing to respond to his proposal to make a documentary to counterargue claims of antisemitism in the UK Labour Party.<\/span><\/p>\n

The musician and vehement anti-Israel activist attacked the British public broadcaster during an online panel discussion<\/a><\/strong><\/span> last week \u2014 hosted by anti-Zionist author and American-Israeli activist Miko Peled \u2014 that focused on defending Wikileaks founder Julian Assange.<\/span><\/p>\n

Waters referenced a July 2019 documentary<\/strong><\/span><\/a> by the \u201cPanorama\u201d program, screened by BBC1<\/em>, that examined antisemitism in the Labour Party, charging it \u201cwas a shocking put-up job that just floated away on the clouds of rubbish that come out of the Ministry of Truth never to be seen again.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cWe can\u2019t live with the disgusting nature of the deceit \u2014 the BBC having become completely corrupt,\u201d he added, before saying, \u201cI wrote to the BBC and suggested we make another \u2018Panorama\u2019 program showing the other side of the argument about alleged antisemitism in the Labour Party. They didn\u2019t even answer.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n
