Apple Music launched a new project in collaboration with Israeli singers that was inspired by the Jewish holiday Rosh Hashanah.<\/span><\/p>\n

The music streaming service asked several well-known musicians in Israel to create\u00a0exclusive playlists<\/a><\/strong><\/span>\u00a0composed of their favorite Israeli songs from the last year. The playlists contain between 14 to 25 songs and were curated by Israeli artists\u00a0Omar Adam<\/a><\/strong><\/span>,\u00a0Noa Kirel<\/a><\/strong><\/span>,\u00a0Ella-Li Lahav<\/strong><\/span>,\u00a0<\/a>Miri Mesika<\/strong><\/span><\/a>,\u00a0Ravid Plotnik<\/a><\/strong><\/span>\u00a0and\u00a0Berry Sakharof<\/a><\/strong><\/span>. The Apple Music playlists will be available from Thursday until after Rosh Hashanah.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cJust as one year ends and a new one begins, we invite you to celebrate the past and look forward to what\u2019s yet to come,\u201d Apple Music said. \u201cTo summarize the past Jewish year, we\u2019ve asked six artists we love to share the Israeli songs that made their year. You can also dive into iconic Israeli debut albums, go back to the classics and enjoy the work of trailblazing, innovative artists.\u00a0Shanah tova<\/em>!\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

Sakharof said, \u201cI\u2019m happy that even during this difficult year, music has won and there\u2019s been a continued release of great songs here. These are some of the songs I loved this year.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

Apple Music also released a playlist titled \u201cFuture Generation,<\/a><\/strong><\/span>\u201d which is dedicated to introducing new talent and \u201cthe most promising voices\u201d from the Israeli music scene. The playlist is updated regularly.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n
