Film icon Sharon Stone addressed hatred against the Jewish community in a  \u201cdivided\u201d America in a video<\/a> she uploaded Wednesday on Instagram.<\/span><\/p>\n

The \u201cBasic Instinct\u201d actress, who is not Jewish, recorded herself making a \u201cpersonal plea\u201d in which she begins by describing a clip she recently watched about an unprovoked attack on a Jewish man.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cI just watched a video of a young man taunting an Orthodox rabbi who had his hands down. And this boy, punched this rabbi and knocked him out for absolutely no reason other than the fact that he was being hateful,\u201d she said. \u201cWe\u2019ve reached a point in our country, the United States of American, where we\u2019re becoming divided by people who claim to be politicians, people who claim to be acting in our best and better interests. They\u2019re really not.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

She added, \u201cLove, kindness, humanity, decency, dignity \u2014 these are the things that are in the our better interest and in the best interest of our children. We\u2019re called the United<\/em> States of America for a reason.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n
