Terror groups in Gaza claimed that they had used new missiles in this latest round of fighting on Saturday. This has yet to be confirmed from Israeli sources.

The joint operations room of the terror groups in Gaza threatened to launch rockets at the Tel Aviv area as well, if Israel continues to attack targets in Gaza.

The IDF aircraft hit about 200 terror targets in Gaza in response.

Around 70% of the rockets fell in open fields, while the Iron Dome intercepted over 90% of the rockets directed to populated areas, Channel 12 reported on Sunday morning.

Over 200.000 children will remain home on Sunday as schools in Southern Israel are to stay close.
