Przystanek Dłużek/Lake ‘68

Film w reżyserii Irit Shamgar, od lat zamieszkałej w Izraelu. 

Na początku lat 60. trzy zaprzyjaźnione rodziny, Brodzkich, Baumritterów i Burginów, ideowych komunistów w większości żydowskiego pochodzenia, kupiły działkę i postawiły domki letniskowe nad jeziorem Dłużek na obrzeżach Mazur. Do dziś się tam spotykają, wraz z przedstawicielami kolejnych pokoleń swoich rodzin, ale w wyniku wydarzeń 1968 roku – niektórzy przyjeżdżają teraz, jako emigranci. Dokument autorstwa córki Stanisława Brodzkiego, osiadłej w Izraelu, powstał w ramach nowego cyklu „Polska–Izrael: Nowe spojrzenie”.

A group of friends meet every summer in a small wooden house near a beautiful lake in northen Poland. All of them were born in Poland and lived there all their life until the summer of 68′. Then in a officially organized Anti Semitic outburst they were expelled from Poland. Some found out only then that they were Jewish. Till then they belonged to a privileged class in the state and the communist party. In the little house, of my late father and his second wife, they waited for the travel documents. They did not have any passports, they lost their jobs, their houses. Now they come back every summer – they travel from Sweden, Norway, Israel and Holland. Here they feel at home, remembering and longing.
