Helping the Jews in German-Occupied Poland: Żegota and others

PJHF

As Holocaust Education Week 2016 nears, the Polish-Jewish Heritage Foundation has partnered with the Polish Embassy in Ottawa and the Konstanty Reynert Chair of Polish Studies at the History Department at the University of Toronto for a joint programme titled Helping the Jews in German-Occupied Poland: Żegota and others featuring five outstanding scholars from the USA and Poland.

We thank Elizabeth and Tony Comper Holocaust Education Fund at the Anne Tanenbaum Centre for Jewish Studies and Chancellor Rose, Ray Wolfe Chair of Holocaust Studies at the University of Toronto as well as the Polish Consulate in Toronto for their support.

We also thank a number of distinguished members of our foundation, who made their generous donations towards the program, and without whom our participation in this year’s Holocaust Education Week would not be possible.

Please kindly mark the date of Nov. 7, at 7 PM in your calendar and confirm your attendance at RSVP.ottawa@msz.gov.pl.
