Antisemitism Continues to Skyrocket in France, With Over 1,500 Incidents Recorded in 2024, New Report Finds

Antisemitism in France continued to surge to alarming levels across the country last year, with 1,570 incidents recorded, according to a new bombshell report.

The Representative Council of Jewish Institutions of France (CRIF), the main representative body of French Jews, on Wednesday released its annual report on antisemitism, which was compiled by the Jewish Community Protection Service using data jointly recorded with the Ministry of the Interior.

The total number of antisemitic outrages last year was a slight dip from 2023’s record total of 1,676, but it marked a striking increase from the 436 antisemitic acts recorded in 2022.

In late May and early June, antisemitic acts rose by more than 140 percent, far surpassing the weekly average of slightly more than 30 incidents.

The report also found that 65.2 percent of antisemitic acts last year targeted individuals, with more than 10 percent of these offenses involving physical violence.

One such incident occurred in late June, when an elderly Jewish woman was attacked in a Paris suburb by two assailants who punched her in the face, pushed her to the ground, and kicked her while hurling antisemitic slurs, including “dirty Jew, this is what you deserve.”

In another egregious attack that garnered international headlines, a 12-year-old Jewish girl was raped by three Muslim boys in a different Paris suburb on June 15. The child told investigators that the assailants called her a “dirty Jew” and hurled other antisemitic comments at her during the attack. In response to the incident, French President Emmanuel Macron denounced the “scourge of antisemitism” plaguing his country.

Antisemitism skyrocketed in France following the Palestinian terrorist group Hamas’s invasion of and massacre across southern Israel on Oct. 7, 2023, amid the ensuing war in Gaza. According to CRIF’s report, the surge continued unabated last year, with over 30 percent of antisemitic incidents, or 43 out of an average of 130 per month, making direct reference to “Palestine.”

In November, for example, a monument honoring victims of the Nazis located in eastern France was vandalized with graffiti reading “Nique Israël,” or “F—k Israel” in English.

On the one-year anniversary of Hamas’s Oct. 7 atrocities, three men brutally attacked a Jewish woman at the entrance to her home in Paris. The victim stated that the assailants threatened her with a box knife, made antisemitic threats, and mentioned the events of last Oct. 7.

In September, a kosher restaurant in Villeurbanne, near the eastern city of Lyon, was defaced with red paint and tagged with the message “Free Gaza.”

CRIF’s latest data also showed that 192 antisemitic acts were committed in schools, which accounted for 12.2 percent of all such incidents recorded last year.

Synagogues were targeted as well. In August, for example, French police arrested a 33-year-old Algerian man suspected of trying to set a synagogue ablaze in the southern French city of la Grande-Motte.

France is one of several countries that has experienced a surge in anti-Jewish hate crimes and demonstrations since Hamas’s invasion of Israel.

According to a report from the World Zionist Organization and the Jewish Agency for Israel, there has been a staggering 340 percent increase in antisemitic acts worldwide in 2024 compared to 2022.

The report showed a sharp rise in antisemitic outrages in North America and Europe, with the US up 288 percent, Canada increasing by 562 percent, and Britain seeing a 450 percent spike, with nearly 2,000 incidents recorded in the first half of 2024 in the UK.

‘We’ve Received Vile Antisemitic Slurs’: Justin Baldoni’s Publicists File Counter-Lawsuit Against Blake Lively

Actor-director Justin Baldoni, his production company Wayfarer Studios, and his publicists, Jennifer Abel and Melissa Nathan, filed on Thursday a joint $400 million countersuit against actress Blake Lively, in part claiming they received “abhorrent abuse and vile antisemitic slurs” after Lively accused Baldoni of sexual harassment.

The lawsuit was filed in the US District Court of the Southern District of New York in response to Lively’s own lawsuit against Baldoni, his public relations team, and Wayfarer Studios that was filed last month. In her filing, Lively, 37, accused Baldoni, 40, of sexual harassment and “sexually inappropriate behavior” on the set of their recent film “It Ends With Us,” and his team of initiating “a coordinated effort to destroy her reputation.”

Baldoni directed “It Ends With Us” and also starred in the film alongside Lively. In the film, Lively plays a florist named Lily Bloom who experiences domestic violence during her relationship with Baldoni’s character, a neurosurgeon named Ryle. Baldoni’s mother is from an Ashkenazi Jewish family with roots in Eastern Europe but he follows the Baháʼí faith.

In a joint statement given to The Algemeiner, Abel and Nathan explained their decision to join a counter-lawsuit against Lively after her own lawsuit in December. Their suit on Thursday also names Lively’s husband, “Deadpool” actor Ryan Reynolds, and Lively’s publicist as defendants.

“Over the last month we have received death threats, abhorrent abuse, and vile antisemitic slurs hurled at us due to her decision to use us as scapegoats for her own choices promoting her film in which she made millions of dollars,” Abel and Nathan said. “With this filing, we lift our own curtain of what happens when the entitled weaponize power, fear, and money to destroy, intimidate, and bully those who get in their way.”

Nathan is a crisis management expert and CEO and founder of The Agency Group (TAG) public relations firm, which has offices in Los Angeles, New York, and Washington, DC. Abel is the founder and CEO of RWA Communications, a public relations and media company based in Beverly Hills. She is Baldoni’s personal publicist.

In their joint statement, the two publicists also expressed frustration that they are “forced to answer this viciously selfish ongoing litigation littered with documented and provable lies in the midst of the tragedy impacting California where we reside.”

“Five months ago, Ms. Lively chose to promote a film about domestic violence in a way that caused instant negative and organic backlash due to her own highly publicized actions. Instead of accepting responsibility, she decided to cruelly blame us,” they added. “This malicious attack on private individuals by Ms. Lively and her team in which they chose to spoon feed The New York Times with doctored, out of context, and edited text messages in an effort to paint herself as a victim set off a chain of events that has been harmful beyond measure. To be clear, Ms. Lively and her team initiated this smear campaign in the media for the sole intention of gaining undeserved public sympathy for her own missteps.”

In their lengthy lawsuit on Thursday obtained by The Algemeiner, the plaintiffs made further claims about Lively directing a “smear campaign” against them that was carried out by her team. They also claimed Lively “concocted a fantastical narrative that laid the blame for her travails exactly where she believed it belonged — with others.”

“The ramifications of this scheme have been grave for Wayfarer, Baldoni, Abel, and Nathan, who became objects of public scorn and derision overnight,” the lawsuit stated. “Abel and Nathan, two private individuals (and female small business owners), have had their lives turned upside down: Their careers and reputations have been destroyed, their private information leaked, and their email inboxes and social media pages filled with a daily stream of death threats, abuse, and vile antisemitic remarks. The backlash against Wayfarer and Baldoni has been equally devastating, with Baldoni wrongfully labeled as a sex pest, his accolades rescinded, and his future projects thrown into doubt.”

The lawsuit on Thursday also addressed the accusations that Lively made in her own filing, including claims that Baldoni improvised unapproved and intimate scenes during filming “It Ends With Us,” used sexually inappropriate language on the film’s set, and talked with Lively about his experience with pornography. Lively also claimed in her lawsuit that Baldoni walked into her trailer uninvited while she was undressed, including when she was breastfeeding her baby, the youngest of her four children.

The plaintiffs in Thursday’s lawsuit sought to discredit all of Lively’s allegations. Discussing Lively’s claim that Baldoni walked into her trailer uninvited and while she was undressed, they said in their lawsuit, “the suggestion that this ever happened is illogical and categorically false.”

“No one would or did enter Lively’s trailer without knocking first and asking permission,” the lawsuit stated. “More than once, Lively invited Baldoni, [producer Jamey] Heath, and other producers into her trailer so that she could multi-task, understandably balancing motherhood with her work obligations. Regrettably, while accommodating Lively, Baldoni and Heath were led into situations that would later be characterized as harassment. Lively herself invited Baldoni to her trailer to ‘work on lines’ while she pumped breast milk. Lively regularly breast-fed in front of Baldoni while they had meetings … Lively was not topless, as she claims elsewhere, but was fully covered while either nursing or pumping breast milk.”

Baldoni’s publicists also claimed that Lively’s publicist, Leslie Sloane, “devised and executed a smear campaign of her own against Baldoni,” and disseminated “false and defamatory stories” about Baldoni and Wayfarer.

Baldoni has been dropped by his talent agency WME because of Lively’s accusations.

Europejski Parlament to ciekawa instytucja, mamy tam dwie nieudane premierki, panie Kopacz i Szydło, mamy Brauna i Obajtka, mamy biednego Biedronia i tabun innych miernych ale wiernych, którym postanowiono zafundować fantastyczne synekury w Brukseli. Czy inne kraje też traktują ten cyrk jako dom spokojnej politycznej nieudaczności? Obawiam się że tak.     

Europejski Parlament bulgocze nienawiścią do Izraela i Żydów. Rej wodzą posłowie z Hiszpanii, Irlandii, Portugalii, piszą zbiorowe elaboraty w stylu wypracowania naszej literatki Hanki Grupińskiej. Są również bardzo nieliczne diamenty. Jest urodzona w Burkina Faso, czarna posłanka belgijska, Assita Adoua Kanko, jest posłanka szwedzka, urodzona w Rumunii Alice Teodorescu.

Alice miała pięć lat, kiedy w 1989 roku przyjechała z rodzicami do Szwecji, do szkoły chodziła w uniwersyteckim mieście Lund, gdzie również skończyła studia prawnicze. Poświęciła się dziennikarstwu, szybko zyskując opinię świetnej komentatorki i publicystki.

W 2019 partia Chrześcijańskich Demokratów zaproponowała jej kandydowanie do PE, gdzie jedną z jej pasji jest przeciwdziałanie wściekłemu antysemityzmowi w tej instytucji.          

Alice Teodorescu opublikowała 18 stycznia artykuł pod wymownym tytułem „Pakt z diabłem”, w którym przedstawia argumenty najprawdopodobniej zbyt trudne dla tych, którzy nas tam reprezentują.

Szwedzka parlamentarzystka wie nieco więcej niż donoszący o konflikcie bliskowschodnim „dziennikarze” „Gazety Wyborczej”, „Polityki”, „Rzeczpospolitej”, żeby nie wspomnieć „Krytyki Politycznej”, która jest niemal jawną agenturą Al Dżaziry.

Prezentując koszmarną wymianę kilkudziesięciu porwanych za bez mała dwa tysiące sadystycznych morderców,  Alice Teodorescu pisze jakie argumenty przedstawiła w Parlamencie Europejskim, ostrzegając przed konsekwencjami tego gangsterskiego wymuszenia.

Autorka przypomina historię palestyńskiej polityki brania zakładników, porwań trwających praktycznie od samego powstania Izraela.

„Zacznijmy od sprawy zakładników, którą próbowałam wyjaśniać [w Parlamencie Europejskim] w Brukseli przez ostatnie sześć miesięcy. To całkowicie niewyobrażalne, że cywilizowana część świata i jego organizacje pozarządowe nie postawiły sobie za najwyższy priorytet natychmiastowego i bezwarunkowego uwolnienia zakładników, wśród których znajdowało się niemowlę (które urodziło się dokładnie dwa lata temu) i jego  niewiele starszy brat.

W rozsądnym świecie, wolnym od antysemityzmu, któremu nikt nie może już zaprzeczyć, Zachód natychmiast i zgodnie postawiłby Hamasowi ultimatum, tym samym stawiając sprawę na ostrzu noża od razu w pierwszym dniu po porwaniu zakładników. Nie zrobili tego ONZ, Amnesty International i inni, którzy powinni byli stanąć po stronie ofiar, a nie czynić z nich sprawców. Granice tego, co dopuszczalne, zostały nieodwracalnie przekroczone. Kiedy nie ma już nic świętego, kiedy bierze się 9-miesięczne dziecko jako zakładnika i jeśli bardziej oburza obrona Izraela niż ten fakt, jeśli humanizm zostaje całkowicie odrzucony, to wszystko, co może przynieść przyszłość, staje się dozwolone.”

Wybór, przed którym stanął Izrael – będący bezpośrednim skutkiem tchórzostwa i niechęci świata zewnętrznego do wspierania kraju w walce z terrorystami Hamasu – jest równie niemożliwy i równie nieludzki – stwierdza szwedzka parlamentarzystka. 

Palestyńczycy nagminnie porywali izraelskich obywateli w latach pięćdziesiątych i sześćdziesiątych ubiegłego wieku i premier Icchak Rabin przedstawił doktrynę, bez znajomości której trudno pojąć, dlaczego Izrael przystał na okropne warunki Hamasu i naciski Ameryki, żeby je zaakceptować.

„Zgodnie z doktryną, która oddaje istotę żydowskiego poglądu na humanizm, Izrael musi nadać priorytet wojskowym akcjom ratunkowym w celu uwolnienia zakładników, nawet jeśli szansa powodzenia jest niewielka, a ryzyko śmierci wśród zakładników i zaangażowanych sił specjalnych jest wysokie. Jak stanowi ta doktryna, w sytuacjach kiedy uznaje się, że przeprowadzenie akcji ratunkowej jest niemożliwe, należy negocjować z biorącymi zakładników w sprawie ich żądań.”

Autorka przypomina, że w reakcji na takie właśnie ustawienie priorytetów, Palestyńczycy zmienili taktykę umieszczając porwanych w innych (oczywiście chętnie współpracujących) krajach arabskich. W tej sytuacji jedynym wyjściem były negocjacje z gangsterami. Co prowadziło do wymiany setek zbrodniarzy na garstkę porwanych.   

 

Izraelczycy dobrze poznali gorzki smak tych praktyk, a szczególnie głośna jest tu historia porwanego w 2006 roku przez tunel terrorystyczny żołnierza Gilada Szalita. Palestyńczycy wrócili do swoich odwiecznych metod. „W 2011 r. osiągnięto porozumienie z Hamasem, na mocy którego Szalit został zwolniony w zamian za 1027 Palestyńczyków przetrzymywanych w Izraelu. Wśród nich był Jahja Sinwar, dowódca Hamasu i architekt ataku z 7 października, którego Izrael na szczęście ostatecznie pozbył się jesienią ubiegłego roku.”

Operacje w Gazie podczas wywołanej przez Hamas ostatniej wojny utrudnione są nie tylko przez fakt, że przy wsparciu ONZ poświęcono miliardy dolarów na zmianę Gazy w militarną twierdzę, ale również z powodu nieustającego lęku przed zabiciem własnych obywateli, jak i przed nadmiernymi stratami wśród gazańskich cywilów.  Strategia terrorystów, ukrywania się w szpitalach, w szkołach i meczetach praktycznie nie została potępiona przez światową opinię publiczną. Przeciwnie instytucje takie jak ONZ, Parlament Europejski, czy grupy obrony praw człowieka nadawały moc propagandzie Hamasu. W efekcie w chwili zawieszenia broni Hamas jest osłabiony, ale nadal silny i przekonany,  że z pomocą Zachodu osiągnął zwycięstwo.       

Jeśli nie żądamy od Palestyńczyków, od Teheranu czy Doha uznania bezwarunkowego prawa Izraela do istnienia, przyłączamy się do zbójeckich reżimów.

„Zatem obowiązkiem Palestyńczyków, jeśli pragną pokoju, jest nie pozwolić, aby rządzili nimi fundamentalistyczni islamiści, których ideą i celem jest eksterminacja Izraela i jego narodu. Do Palestyńczyków należy powstanie przeciwko tym, którzy bez skrupułów wykorzystują ich jako ludzkie tarcze, którzy przechwytują pomoc, która powinna do nich dotrzeć, i którzy nienawidzą Żydów bardziej niż troszczą się o przyszłość palestyńskich dzieci.”

To nie jest koniec wojny, który zapewni prawdziwy pokój.

„Zamiast próbować odwoływać się do człowieczeństwa, którego ewidentnie brakuje terrorystom, wolny świat powinien był stanąć po stronie Izraela i od pierwszego dnia po masakrach wezwać do natychmiastowego uwolnienia zakładników, pod militarną groźbą.”

Alice nie ma wątpliwości, że dzięki pomocy zachodnich instytucji, polityków i dziennikarzy Hamas jest przekonany, że nigdy nie może przegrać, niezależnie od tego jakie zbrodnie popełnią. Na wiadomość o zawieszeniu broni, mieszkańcy Gazy wylegli na ulice nie tylko demonstrując poparcie dla Hamasu ale krzycząc  „Chajbar, Chajbar, ja Jahud”, co jest antysemickim zawołaniem nawołującym do przemocy wobec Żydów. Podobne sceny widzieliśmy w zachodnich miastach, wszędzie gdzie ten gatunek morderczego antysemityzmu stał się akceptowalny.  

Dlaczego mają się zmieniać, jeśli nigdy nie mogą przegrać i mają wsparcie Wschodu, Zachodu, Południa i Północy?

Alice Teodorescu kończy swój artykuł słowami, które mogą być zbyt trudne dla ludzi, którzy z pomocą Antonio Guterresa, Amnesty International, dziennikarzy mediów światowych i lokalnych sprzedali swoje dusze diabłu:

„Izrael stanął przed niemożliwym dylematem wyboru między rozumem a uczuciem, głową a sercem, długoterminowością a krótkoterminowością. Wybór, przed którym nie chciałby stanąć żaden członek rodziny, żaden postronny człowiek, czy polityk przy zdrowych zmysłach.

Konsekwencje porozumienia będą odbijać się echem przez dziesięciolecia, przez pokolenia, poza czasem i przestrzenią, ponieważ opierają się na wyborze, który mówi coś istotnego o tych, którzy je zawarli, o ich poglądzie na ludzką godność oraz o czasie, w którym żyliśmy, gdy pisano te słowa.

Ale jedno jest pewne: wielu z nas nigdy nie zapomni, nie mówiąc już o przebaczeniu, wszystkim, którzy do tego dopuścili. Wy wszyscy, którzy dumnie wypowiadaliście się na rzecz praw człowieka, byliście pozerami ze swoim humanizmem, a jednocześnie ze swoim aktywizmem, relatywizacją i całkowitą obojętnością, wysłaliście najjaśniejszy sygnał wszystkim terrorystom na świecie: porywajcie dzieci, gwałćcie kobiety, torturujcie starców – o ile ofiarą jest Żyd, będziemy patrzeć w drugą stronę.

Za to wszystko zasługujecie na najsurowszy wyrok w historii.”

Chciałbym aby ten tekst dotarł do naszych przedstawicieli w Europejskim Parlamencie, w Sejmie i Senacie, do redaktorów gazety wprowadzających w błąd czytelników. Ja sam wysyłać go nikomu nie będę, bo znam odpowiedź.

Professor to CUNY’s Faculty Union: Let My People Go!

Three years ago, almost to the day, I joined five brave professors at the City University of New York (CUNY) in filing a lawsuit against the union that represents us.

Why? For starters, as a Zionist Jew, I was appalled when the union’s delegates chanted “Zionism out of CUNY!” at an anti-Israel rally.

And I was disgusted when the union passed a resolution supporting the Boycott, Divestment, and Sanctions (BDS) movement that called Israel an “apartheid” state.

My fellow plaintiffs and I aren’t members of the union, but it imposes its tainted services on us, nonetheless.

New York’s Taylor Law cruelly forces us to accept this hate-infested union’s representation, even while the union’s members and delegates openly chant that they want to expel Zionists from the university.

That’s right — this union is supposed to protect our jobs, but it is doing its best to destroy them.

The union has just ratified a new contract, which will affect our terms and conditions of employment and the campus environment for Jews.

Despite the findings by multiple investigations — the US Department of Education Office of Civil Rights, the report by Judge Lippman commissioned by New York’s governor, an Equal Employment Opportunity Commission determination — of the massive antisemitism problem at CUNY, the union has been silent on the issue, and so is the new contract.

Does the contract propose reforms that will protect Zionist Jews from the violence and harassment that we have suffered on campus? No it does not.

Does it rectify what I see as the expungement of Jews from senior leadership positions at CUNY? Not by my read.

Does it demand measures to prevent violent and campus-disrupting anti-Israel encampments? No — probably because the union defended them.

However, because the union has pushed us out of its membership by spouting hateful attacks against our religion and heritage, my fellow plaintiffs and hundreds of other Jews have zero influence over the contract’s details.

We’ve been driven out, then denied a vote on an agreement that affects our careers and our safety.

So much for democracy and a union’s duty of equal and fair representation of all groups.

Union officials don’t want Zionist Jews in their membership ranks? Fine. They shouldn’t be speaking or negotiating for us either. We don’t need or want their “representation.”

A similar conflict existed 3,500 years ago in Egypt.

A tyrannical Pharaoh abused Jews, treating them like an underclass and exploiting their labor — until someone stood up.

Moses made a famous demand of that unaccountable leader: Let my people go.

I say the same to the leaders of the Professional Staff Congress.

They don’t want us, but they are forcing us to labor under the conditions they set. And they have argued that representing every last professor at CUNY is “fundamental to a union’s power.”

By their own admission, they are demanding the right to represent Zionist Jews not for our benefit but for theirs.

Unfortunately, on Monday, the US Supreme Court denied our appeal to address this ongoing injustice, meaning our antisemitic union will remain free to enhance its own power by mistreating groups it considers to be undesirable.

The Court has chosen not to intervene, but that doesn’t mean our representatives can’t get involved. It’s happened before. Just ahead of a Supreme Court decision in 2018 that affected public employees’ rights, lawmakers passed a significant change to the Taylor Law. They should do so again.

And Congress has a role, too. If Federal legislators really want to address the evil and insanity that is transpiring on our campuses, they must recognize that Marxist and antisemitic faculty unions are behind so much of it. A powerful first step would be passing Senator Bill Cassidy’s (R-LA) proposed Union Members Right to Know Act, a bill that would prevent unions from promoting antisemitism and other hateful ideologies.

For our union at CUNY, after years of litigation and discrimination, it’s time.

Let my people go.

A pro-Palestinian activist who was kicked out of a gym this week and arrested while wearing a shirt that said “Israel Kills Children” has been identified as a Hamas supporter and the head of a health-care company in Arizona.

The antisemitism watchdog group Canary Mission revealed in an Instagram post on Thursday that Saiaf Abdallah is the CEO of Voyage Medical Primary Care in Tempe, Arizona, a company founded in 2017. He has a “background in health care, vaccines, and clinical research,” and “holds a variety of seminars and educational classes to help the community better understand both vaccines and research,” according to the website for the health-care provider. He has been CEO of Voyage Medical since March 2023, according to his LinkedIn page.

According to Canary Mission, less than a month after the Oct. 7, 2023, deadly terrorist attack in Israel that was orchestrated by the Hamas terrorist organization, Abdallah tweeted, “Hamas is eating your b—ch a—s soldiers … Liberation is gonna get shoved down your f—kin throat.”

In November 2023, Abdallah was arrested for disruptive behavior at a pro-Palestinian protest at Arizona State University and banned from the school’s property for one year. He has a bachelor’s degree from ASU and a master’s degree from Grand Canyon University. In December of that same year, he voiced support for Palestinian “resistance” against the Jewish state and violence against Israel.

“I wish we could call on America to send the Palestinians more weapons,” he said. “I want America to send tanks and F-16s to the Palestinians. And rifles and AK-47s. Let them take up arms. That’s the truth. That’s what should be happening … cough up some money and give weapons to the Palestinians. Let them resist.”

Canary Mission shared details about Abdallah in an Instagram post as well as a video about the incident that took place at a gym in Gilbert, Arizona, recently while he wore an anti-Israel shirt. Abdallah responded to the post by Canary Mission, writing, “I’m on Canary? How come no one mentioned it?! I’m gonna get dressed up and celebrate.”

Abdallah shared on social media this week that he was kicked out of the Life Time gym in Gilbert and arrested when he disregarded demands by gym management to leave the facility. During the ordeal, Abdallah was wearing a shirt that said “Israel Kills Children.” He said when he arrived at the gym, a staff member asked him to take off the garment and he refused. Not long afterward, the gym’s manager told Abdullah he must leave the premises for not having “an active membership,” or the gym would call the police. When Abdallah refused, police officers arrived and arrested him for trespassing.

During the incident, he made anti-Israel comments to both the manager of Life Time gym and Gilbert police officers. “There’s a Holocaust going on in Palestine,” he claimed. “There are no more gyms left in Palestine, you guys bombed all of them. Free Palestine.”
