China’s ‘CEO Whisperers’: Chinese Communist Party Takes Over Canada

- The influence of the CCP is so pervasive that Canada’s Minister of Environment and Climate Change, Steven Guilbeault, “is pulling double duty as an official adviser to the Chinese government” according to a report in the Toronto Sun.

“When I look… at the subtle but intense influence of China on Canadian institutions — parliaments, provincial governments, local governments, universities, the intellectual community, the policy community — it makes me deadly worried,” said Australian professor Clive Hamilton, author of Hidden Hand: Exposing How the Chinese Communist Party is Reshaping the World (co-authored by Mareike Ohlberg), speaking to Canada’s National Post in 2019. “I’ve met some very well-informed Canadians who aren’t sure Canada will be able to extricate itself from this situation.”
Hamilton, who “blew the whistle on Australia says Canada is in even worse trouble.”

I think that’s the real measure of China’s influence.”
Four years later and Canadian authorities are doing little to nothing about China’s interference in Canada. Despite leaked intelligence reports about Chinese interference in Canada’s last two federal elections in 2019 and 2021, Prime Minister Justin Trudeau has refused to hold a public probe into the matter.
Investigative journalist Sam Cooper wrote in August:
“China’s election interference and political influence in Canada has been enabled by Beijing’s covert ‘takeover’ of Chinese-language media, plus sophisticated, massively-funded schemes targeting mainstream outlets and seeking to control ‘key media entities’ according to intelligence documents.
“These clandestine operations have involved threats against journalists, the documents say, but also inducements, such as benefits offered by Vancouver’s Chinese Consulate to cultivate ‘key editors, producers and high-ranking managers.'”
According to Tasha Kheiriddin, a Canadian political columnist, the passivity of Trudeau’s Liberal Party is “permitting China to colonize Canada.”
“The erosion of our sovereignty by foreign powers, notably the Chinese communist government, contributes to many… problems. On housing: Chinese money laundering inflated Canadian property values for decades and helped push home ownership out of reach for today’s buyers. On drug addiction: China is the main source country of fentanyl found in Canada, paving the way for thousands of overdose deaths. On the economy: China has targeted a host of Canadian industries for control, from lobsters to lithium.”
According to Hamilton, the CCP has a hold on Canadian elites, which explains why China’s interference is allowed to continue in Canada.

David Mulroney, a former Canadian ambassador to China from 2009 to 2012, said that Canadian elites only see an imaginary China.
“They see the China of the very powerful rhetoric of the Communist Party. I’ve often said that Chinese leaders are what I call CEO whisperers, they’re very, very skillful when meeting foreigners, particularly senior foreigners.
“China inspires a kind of excessive affection in people and an excessive sense of wonder and a desire not to apply the usual sort of critical thinking skills, and people are seduced by it.”

According to columnist Tristin Hopper, writing in Canada’s National Post:
“Trudeau’s family has always had a weird relationship with the People’s Republic of China. As prime minister, Pierre Trudeau [Justin Trudeau’s father], paid semi-regular visits to the country and often hauled his children along…
“So in 2016, it didn’t take all that much for the People’s Republic of China to utterly flatter Justin Trudeau during his first official visit to the country. China’s premier Li Keqiang made sure to offer praise of Trudeau’s father within seconds of their initial meeting…
“Trudeau, meanwhile, framed the whole thing as a kind of family reunion — and made sure to note that he had brought his own kids along. ‘The friendship and the openness towards China that my father taught me, I’m certainly hoping to pass on not only to my children but to generations of Canadians in the future,’ he said.”

In August, Guilbeault traveled to China to participate in a meeting at the China Council for International Cooperation on Environment and Development (CCICED), which was established by China’s Ministry of Ecology and Environment. According to the organization’s own website:
“… chaired by China’s Executive Vice-Premier, CCICED serves as a high-level advisory body with a mandate to conduct research and provide policy recommendations to the Chinese Government on environment and development.”
Guilbeault, a cabinet minister in the Canadian government, is, unbelievably, an Executive Vice Chairperson of CCICED.
China, according to Rob Hueber, senior fellow at the Macdonald-Laurier Institute and associate professor of political science at the University of Calgary, is a real threat to Canada’s sovereignty. “Recent Chinese actions and announcements are pointing to Beijing’s determination to have a military capability in the region that will exceed that of Canada,” Hueber wrote in August.

The CCP doesn’t need to try very hard. Canada’s an easy target. Easily manipulated by a self-serving legal industry keen to hire itself out to whatever group promises a cash flow, Canadians tend to be good-natured prey. No matter whether it’s, for example, the CCP, the so-called aboriginals or maybe just the transgenders doing the fleecing, Canadians obligingly submit. The poor yucks are on the wrong side of Darwin.
By “capturing” Canada’s federal government, China controls most of the North American continent abutting the U.S. northern border – approximately 50% of the land surface required to “encircle” the U.S.
Undoubtedly, lethal military “assets,” human and materiel, directed toward the U.S. reside in Canada.
Where have peoples’ heads been? China has had for many years a military base in British Columbia. But, maybe it’s not in B.C. though, because the government of Canadia gave the Chinese military autonomy. Therefore they are not subject to B.C. laws. It was “rumored” that China had a larger force in the area of Quebec, that tried to encroach into Maine. This was a few years ago when the US military was seen shipping trainloads and truckloads of coffins to that area. I read that in this year alone 45,000 military age Chinese nationals have been released to the interior over OUR southern border. NOTHING TO SEE HERE. MOVE ALONG.
The same in Europe, Nigel Farage of the UK did mention that our politicians are on the payroll of Soros, in the EU, we are busy with the Ukraine, and China does not waste time to extend its influence worldwide and our politicians are unable to stop it or are not willing too do something.
During WW2 Japan & Germany caused trouble, but China has more human resources than the both of them.
And sooner or later we will realise that it is too late, or there will be an unexpected uprising.
Money is shaping our world and our governments now, and China has a lot of it.
China is the nation pushing EV for the world. They have serious climate problems of their own making some of it from their own lithium mines and coal production to create electricity. It is failing. We now have an extremely liberal radical Government of California that intends to target oil companies and hold them responsible for all the worlds ills. A socially misfit transportation do-nothing czar for Biden declared oil bad. And meanwhile in Canada after all these fires I found out from friends in Ontario that a town that took it upon themselves to clear cut a fire break to prevent themselves from having their property destroyed and personal risks are being fined by the Canadian Government, as yet I only have anecdotal proof. China is in the same state as post WWI Germany the parallel being in comparison their need for land. Our protected forests may be the land they have their eyes on and fires that should have been anticipated by the very people who rally believe in climate change, did nothing to save the forests. The Sierra Clubs Wild Forests protests have only created perfect firestorms, no clear cuts, no fire breaks even fewer roads, no selective cutting, no controlled fires fires under 1400 degrees F and remain less than a meter over the ground. Who would want such land after its been incinerated to a crisp? Xi?

However there is a lot of unhappiness now in Germany and their industries are collapsing, and going elsewhere. I do not really understand the stupidity what is happening these days.
Great report on what has become a huge problem for Canada. There is much to admire and respect in the Chinese people, but the whole Trudeau family have had a much too cozy relationship with the People’s Republic of China, to the detriment of Canadian interests. Peter Schweitzer’s book, “Red-handed: How American Elites Get Rich Helping China Win” provides a useful survey on this in its seventh chapter. In 1989, CSIS destroyed a Cold War file on Pierre Trudeau, which might have contained important revelations about his kowtowing to the Communist Chinese, but what we do know is quite nauseating. After leaving office, Pierre Trudeau enriched himself as a lawyer and a consultant based on his cozy relations with the People’s Republic of China, and it seems probable that his son plans a similar future for himself whenever he leaves office. Justin’s younger brother Alexandre shares his brother’s reverence for the Chinese totalitarian dictatorship, and has benefited from Chinese largesse, notably in the contract given him for his first book, a travelogue on China called “Barbarian Lost: Travels in the New China.”
Schweizer mentions a $200,000 donation by CCP member Zhang Bin to the Trudeau Foundation, but not a $50,000 donation that he made to erecting a statue of Pierre Trudeau. François-Philippe Champagne, formerly Trudeau’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, now his Minister of Innovation, Science and Industry, has been compromised by the PRC. He borrowed $1 million from the Bank of China to buy two apartments in London, England.
— This article is an eye opener for the money laundering by CCP Chinese, that it is taking in Vancouver, Toronto, Montreal, Calgary etc, for housing and thus housing has become totally out of reach of the average working class Canadians.

— Interference in the Canadian election since Pierre Trudeau has been inching along and now it is openly seen in the all walks of life at all Governmental levels in every major Cities of Canada.
— In the last two (2) Federal elections Justin Trudeau went to the rich Chinese homes in Toronto, Vancouver, Montreal etc. for fundraising.
— Chinese corruption is on a rise exponentially.
— CCP, Chinese are totally taking over Canadian Universities
